I'll update this thread if I have any further issues. Well, I just set Threaded Optimization back to its default value (Global Setting: Auto), and the game looks to be playing at a locked 300 fps now. After Windows updated itself, I started seeing higher framerates again in the 200s, but dipped severely during gameplay as I mentioned above. During that time, I messed with a bunch of other settings, including Threaded Optimization in the Nvidia Control Panel. It takes place on a small stone platform anchored in the depths of Hell. A little background: when I first played the game (before any Windows Updates managed to install), it wouldn't go a bove 60-80 frames per second. Devil Daggers is a fast-paced First-Person Shooter developed by Sorath akin to PC shooters of the 1990s. I am humbly posting this to beg for assistance from other players of this beautiful game, particularly players who have progressed further than myself (I'm currently ranked 950th, my PB is 296.4216, but I usually get stuck. I've tried disabling SMT, setting the game's affinity in the Task Manager to be on unused cores, and downloading the Ryzen optimized power plan. Try those titles out btw if you're looking for other formidable challenges apart from Devil Daggers. I've seen as low as 30 fps when the game starts to get really crazy.ĭoes anyone else running a Ryzen CPU have issues with this game? Or is it an issue with my rig only? As soon as I start shooting, the framerate starts to dip down. It is a game that should be well over 200+ frames per second (it was on my old i7-980X), but on this Ryzen machine it's just awful. Once unlocked you also unlock the Devil Dagger color for the dagger. Currently only 0.2 of Steam and 0.4 of GoG players have unlocked this achievement, 485 players according to the in-game leaderboard (updated 20 August 2021). To unlock it you must reach 500 or more seconds. Devil Daggers, one of my favorite games, runs really badly. Devil Daggers has one achievement, simply called 'Devil Dagger'. Just finished my Ryzen build (in my signature in case any of it is relevant), and actually ended up pretty disappointed.
